I'm a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at Waterloo, currently serving as Aerodynamics Responsible Engineer for Waterloo Formula Electric. My work sits at the intersection of design and manufacturing — I spend as much time laying up carbon fiber in the shop as I do modeling parts in SolidWorks.
Across co-ops at Linamar, Multimatic, and an e-bike shop, I've moved through the full product lifecycle: design and release (PDM), physical validation (fatigue and dye-penetrant testing), and hands-on build and diagnosis. I'm most interested in roles where those three things meet — automotive, motorsports, and prototyping — where a design decision has to survive contact with a machine shop and a test rig.
Right now I'm working to add simulation-backed design work to that foundation — CFD and FEA to back up what I've already proven I can build.
